Welcome to hair band studios!

Hair band studios, is a boutique home salon studio located off the 55hwy in willow spring, nc, bordering fuquay-varina & angier. the studio is located inside the main house garage where you will find the salon, a waiting area, coffee bar and rest room. the studio reflects my creativity & style, with upcycled furniture, unique lighting and books that have inspired my career. you will also find my favorite products, hair accessories and trending fashion for sale.

I have a unique + modern approach to salon service. bookings are by appointment only and clients have access 24/7 to schedule visits using the online booking system. this gives you the control & flexibility to schedule yourself around your work day and a book out future appointments up to one year.

A Master of Metamorphosis...

Native New Yorker, Jen started her career at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cosmetic and Fragrance Marketing and a keen sense of the chemistry behind the beauty industry. After graduation, she moved to Hollywood to attend the Makeup Designory becoming a certified Journeyman Make-up Artist. Combining her love of chemistry and make-up she settled into her passion of making prosthetic limbs for the niche B horror industry. She established SPFXart, a studio that sold and rented prosthetics to independent production companies.

In 2008 she returned to New York City ready to expand her talents.

A twist from west to east, Jen found herself working steadily styling hair on film production, soon after, becoming a NYS licensed Cosmetologist. Falling in love with color, and combining her knowledge of chemistry, character and beauty, Jen masters the styling arts with color, design and care.
